Seven-year-old Lauren Russo took several laps around the arena on top of Sonny, a passive American Paint Horse. An ordinary child taking a riding lesson is the first thing to come to mind when looking at her beaming smile framed by her red curly locks. But what onlookers couldn't know is that six months ago, Lauren took her first steps after episodes of seizures and a mild case of cerebral palsy had left her disabled. (19/05) More
